The painting was done on 300 gsm hot press watercolor paper and comes float mounted in a custom black frame. A little about float mounting: Instead of layering a mat board on top of the art, the artwork is instead “floated” 3/8” above a mat. Spacers are used to separate the glass and frame from the art and mat board, suspending your piece between the materials. It is a lovely way to show off the texture of the paper, to preserve the visibility of my signature and to add a little drama to the art.

This is a beautiful abstract painting that I made depicting the histology of sickle cell anemia.

This is an abstract representation of a lactating breast. Perfect for anyone with an interest in female health and anatomy.

This is a print of an original watercolor that I made of a very zoomed-in iris. You can see just the hint of the pupil in the upper-right corner, giving a hint to the subject's identity, as it otherwise it looks like just a simple watercolor texture. It is ideal for any optometrist or ophthalmologist's office, or any anatomy enthusiast. The close-up nature and flowing, bold palette make it just the right amount of abstract.

A bright pink abstract print of uric acid crystals. Uric acid crystals, while beautiful (seriously! Look it up! I didn't have to make up this color palette!) are dangerous indeed, as a build up of them in the joints is the cause of gout. Despite this, they make for an excellent painting inspiration and would be sure to brighten up any office or living space.

This watercolor fertility painting depicts the fimbriae attached to the ovary. Originally commissioned for a fertility clinic, the diptych version of this has become a very popular print. This version of the watercolor ovary and fimbriae was created as wallpaper for an infertility clinic that was opening a new location!
